Love, Appreciation and Desire: Practical Planning for the Plant-Based Path (Part 1)

Albert Einstein is touted as being one of the most intelligent individuals in modern history. His astute appreciation of complex scientific principals that govern physics, energy and motion, laid the groundwork for our generations most powerful inventions. However, his believe regarding our (humans) relationship and interaction with the natural world proves similarly as thought provoking. As noted above, his foresight in reference to the long-term sustainability of a vegetarian diet were only overshadowed by his evolution to vegetarianism much later in life. His evolution, forced me to ponder the path or paths that we take to come to our decision, to reduce or eliminate animal products from our diet. Over the next several weeks, I will highlight the facts that surround the following paths:
- Our LOVE for animals
- Our APPRECIATION for plants
- Our DESIRE for health
Despite when, how and why, you have come to the realization that reducing your reliance on animal products (and adopting a more plant based diet) has far reaching effects on our environment, our consciousness and our overall health. I will work to equip you with facts that reveal, heavy consumption of animal product creates heavy demand for land worldwide. Additionally, the undeniable link between chronic diseases and mortality with lifestyle is one that further illuminates the role of diet to challenge our previously conceived notions regarding health and wellness.
